Add the account you control
Choose a supported platform and enter the handle without adding @. Vouched supplies the display prefix. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube use the ownership-code workflow; other useful destinations can go on your Hire me card as links.
- Add the social account and copy its current verification code.
- Put that exact code in the account's public bio or description and save it on the platform.
- Return to Vouched and select Check bio.
- Keep the page open while the check runs during its three-minute window.
Wait for an explicit result
Ownership verified means the code was found through the check. If the window ends, confirm the bio was saved and start again when ready. Needs review or an unreachable profile means the platform could not be read reliably, not that ownership has been proved.
Ownership is one kind of evidence
Ownership does not establish audience geography, guarantee a follower number or grant private analytics access. Those are separate sources and permissions. Never send a password or recovery code to prove an account. If the code or handle is wrong, fix that account's setup before retrying.
Common questions
Why does ownership say verified while a follower count says declared?
They describe different facts. The bio check proves control; declared means the follower number was supplied by the creator rather than measured by the platform reader.
