Creator craft / Product guide

Prepare for clipping work

Turn authorized source footage into a short, complete idea. Check the campaign's posting and payment conditions before editing.

Before you start: Open to read. Campaign participation still requires the applicable track and eligibility.

Choose a moment with enough context

The clip should make sense to someone who has not watched the full recording.

  1. Open the campaign's source material and confirm which footage and speakers you may use. Joining a campaign does not make every public video available to reuse.
  2. Choose one complete explanation, demonstration or exchange. Keep the context needed to represent it accurately.
  3. Ask for missing source files or permissions before starting. A reference link is not automatically an editing license.

Make the edit useful on its own

Use the brief's format and delivery requirements as the final checklist.

  1. Start where the idea becomes clear. Remove unnecessary setup without changing what the speaker means.
  2. Check captions for accuracy, especially names, figures and product claims. Preview them against the platform's interface overlays.
  3. Keep required branding and the relevant action visible. Do not assume every campaign requires a permanent logo.
  4. Use only permitted music and footage, and follow the campaign's disclosure requirements and applicable platform rules.

Deliver and follow the evidence

Posting, approval, eligible views and payout release are separate stages.

  1. Submit using the joined campaign's requested route. Check that the post or file can be opened by the reviewer.
  2. Read any minimums, caps and maturation window. A view you claim is not automatically a verified, payable view.
  3. Keep the post available for the agreed period. If a platform removes it or a reading fails, report the issue with the record and reason.

Common questions

Does completing this guide unlock the track?

No. Check the current requirements and your status in About you & tracks. Reading a guide is not verification, certification or campaign acceptance.
