Finding work / Product guide

Use the rate guide without treating it as a quote

Read accepted-quote ranges alongside the actual production scope and usage rights.

Open Rate guide

Know what produced the number

The Rate guide uses accepted booking quotes, not confirmed payouts. Each band needs at least five accepted quotes before it shows a range. A band still waiting for data is not a zero-price recommendation.

Read the sample and the range

Typical is the median accepted quote. The range covers the middle half of accepted bookings in that band, not every price. Check the work category, band and number of deals before comparing it with your offer.

  1. Find the relevant work and band.
  2. Read Deals before interpreting Typical and Range.
  3. Compare deliverables, production effort, revisions and usage with your own scope.
  4. Agree your actual rate in the booking offer rather than copying a benchmark blindly.

Price the whole job

Travel, additional versions, raw files, exclusivity and paid usage can change the work required. An accepted quote may cover different terms. The guide supplies context; it does not guarantee a booking, dictate a minimum or prove what another creator eventually received.

Common questions

Why is there no estimate for my band?

There are not enough accepted quotes to show a range yet. The screen reports the remaining sample needed instead of inventing a price.
