Creator craft / Product guide

Prepare for UGC work

Create an original asset that makes the product understandable. Paid creator production should not be presented as an unsolicited customer review.

Before you start: Open to read. Campaign participation still requires the applicable track and eligibility.

Plan the demonstration

Begin with the product fact or use case the viewer should understand.

  1. Read the brief for required shots, talking points, length, language and orientation. A vertical social video and a product-page asset may need different framing.
  2. Use a product you can access and describe honestly. Do not invent a personal result because a suggested hook asks for one.
  3. Confirm whether you are delivering files, posting to your account or both. Audience posting is a separate part of the scope.

Record a clear test before the full shoot

A short test catches problems while the setup is still easy to change.

  1. Wipe the lens, check focus and exposure, and position the product where the important action stays visible.
  2. Choose stable lighting that lets the viewer see the demonstration. Watch the test for glare, changing brightness and unreadable screens.
  3. Listen to the recording for background noise and unclear speech. Compare microphone distance and room choices before relying on an edit to fix it.
  4. Match the brief's technical specifications. There is no single camera setting that suits every deliverable.

Review the asset and agreed usage

A finished video is one deliverable, not permission for every future use.

  1. Check every mandatory requirement, caption and product link before submitting.
  2. Read whether payment is per 1,000 verified views, a base plus those views, or a flat fee. File delivery alone does not mean approval or payment.
  3. Confirm whether raw files, alternate edits, paid advertising or exclusivity are included. Discuss additional scope before doing it.
  4. Deliver through the campaign or booking record and follow the review there.

Common questions

Does completing this guide unlock the track?

No. Check the current requirements and your status in About you & tracks. Reading a guide is not verification, certification or campaign acceptance.
